• Dr. Jennifer Foss is a South Dakota native who has lived all over the state, including Spearfish, Timberlake, Pollock, New Underwood, Pierre, Mitchell, Artesian, Vermillion and Sioux Falls. She graduated from high school in Artesian and got her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. She proudly got her Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Returning to her home state and being closer to family and friends prompted Dr. Foss and her husband, Steve, to come back to Sioux Falls and raise their family and start their careers. The couple has a daughter, Jadeyn, born in 2001, and welcomed their son, Jayse, in March 2005. When she has free time, she enjoys art, music and shopping.
  
  Dr. Foss discovered chiropractic literally by accident. She was involved in an automobile accident and reluctantly sought chiropractic care after encouragement from Steve. After that, she was hooked. After chiropractic school, she practiced in Sioux Falls as an independent contractor in another doctor's office for about two years. Then, in May 2004, she opened her own clinic at the current location.
  
  Although her experience includes patients will all types of needs, ranging from one day old to ninety-three years old, Dr. Foss has a special interest in Women's and Children's Issues and has taken many additional seminars on chiropractic and pregnancy, infants and children. Her approach to chiropractic includes gentle hands-on and instrument adjusting.
  
  
  
• Amber Thorson, C.A.  In our clinic, Amber has the dual role of new-patient advocate and is also in charge of our billing department. If you have a question about insurance or billing, she's the one with the answers. Amber started as an intern with us in March of 2005 and we loved her so much, we hired her.
  
  Amber is from Sioux Falls and is a Roosevelt graduate. She received her associate's degree in Medical Assisting from National American University. She also completed training and is certified to take chiropractic x-rays.
  
  
  
  
• Jodie Cowill, L.M.T.  Jodie also has multiple roles in our clinic. She is our staff massage therapist, handles our rehabilitation, and covers the front desk. She has been with us since July 2006 and our patients all talk about what a great massage therapist she is.
  
  Her skills include deep tissue work, hot stone massage, Swedish massage, and trigger point therapy, as well as being experienced with pregnant women, children, seniors, auto accident and worker compensation. Jodie has had additional training in hot stone massage, deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy, fibromyalgia massage, and pre-natal massage.
  
  Jodie is a 1999 graduate of Rapid City Central. She got her massage certification through Headlines Academy of Massage in Rapid City. She worked for 4 years doing massage in the Black Hills until moving to Sioux Falls in 2004. Jodie married her fiancé, Scott, in August 2006.
