FAQ ilipo

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Is i-Lipo Safe?

A: Yes. Independent clinical studies have shown i-Lipo to be completely safe with no side effects. The laser simply triggers a natural reaction of fat cell release. The process does not cause any damage and the cells remain intact, just smaller, giving immediate results.

Q: Can I return to normal activity right away?

A: Yes in fact we recommend 30 -45 minutes of exercise post treatment to maximize the burn off of released fat cell contents.

Q: What does the treatment feel like?

A: Most people feel very little during the treatment and find it comfortable and relaxing. The typical sensations felt is a slight warmth where the treatment pads are in contact with your skin.

Q: Can I treat more the one area at a time?

A: It is recommended to treat only one area at a time as the body can only deal with so much fat removal at one time.

Q: How effective is i-Lipo?

A: On average i-Lipo achieves a 2cm reduction off the waist with each treatment. In many cases it is as effective as more invasive type procedures.

Q: How soon will I see results?

A: Often results can be seen immediately and improved with every treatment. Over the course of eight sessions you can achieve dramatic reshaping of the body and reduction in cellulite.

Q: How long to the results last?

A: Results are long-term, provided your calorie intake and eating plan is stable, and you engage in regular exercise. Further treatments can be performed to correct diet indulgence or target another area of the body.

Q: How many treatments are required?

A: Treatments are structured into courses of eight. Your number of treatments, however, is determined at your consultation and is based on your requirements and goals. We suggest two treatments a week, over four weeks, to complete a course of treatments.

Q: Is i-Lipo suitable for everyone?

A: i-Lipo can be used on both men and women and can treat all areas of the body except the female breasts. As with any treatment, people with certain medical conditions should not use i-Lipo. We will go through a full medical questionnaire and consultation prior to treatment to confirm suitability.
