Take a few moments to think about who could benefit from chiropractic care. If you're not sure who needs chiropractic, then I will tell you: everyone. Let me explain.
Your very first subluxation is most likely the result of the birth process. The birth process is said to be one of the most traumatic events in a person's life. Most babies have their heads "cranked" in order to get a better hold of them to get them out. Just watch any birthing video or witness a birth in person. Even those born through caesarean section can experience rough handling to get them out. It is not an easy process, and your OB/GYN or midwife is doing what they need to do to get the baby out safely. There is even evidence linking traumatic births and several childhood abnormalities such as cerebral palsy, autism and even Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). If you don't think it's important for infants and children to be adjusted, it is! The effects of subluxation can affect their whole lives.
Just think of all the falls and injuries infants and toddlers sustain while learning to sit, crawl, stand and walk. Not to mention all the bumps and bruises of being a child and teen associated with playing and sports.
Adults need care, too, for other reasons than pain. Imagine all the wear and tear, accidents and injuries done to your body as you become an adult. If left uncorrected, they could lead to arthritis, degeneration, and possible health conditions in your golden years.
So take some time to think about all the people you love and how they could benefit from chiropractic care. You'll be glad you did!
